These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Aqili, Inc. (“Aqili”, “we”, “us”), a Delaware corporation at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713. They cover your use of Seben: the web app at app.seben.io, the desktop apps, the MCP server at api.seben.io, and our website, www.seben.io. By using Seben you agree to these Terms. If you use Seben for an organization, you agree to them for that organization and confirm that you may do so.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Who can use Seben
You must be at least 18 to use Seben. You sign in with a Microsoft 365 work account or with email, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.
Workspaces
Everyone has a free personal workspace. It is private, and it has no invitations, sharing or API keys.
An owner can create an organization workspace and invite people to it. The owner manages its members, billing, connected apps and API keys. A new organization workspace has a 30-day free trial, with no card needed. The organization is responsible for how its members use the workspace.
Your content
You keep all rights to the documents and other material you put into Seben (“your content”). You give Aqili permission to host, copy, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to run Seben for you, including sending it to the AI and document-analysis services named in our Privacy Policy that perform the features you use. You confirm that you have the right to upload your content, and that processing it as these Terms describe does not break the law or anyone’s rights.
We do not sell your content, and we do not use it for advertising.
AI features and their output
Seben’s agent, extraction and other AI features produce their output by machine. That output can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent with the document, even when it cites a page and sentence. Review it before you rely on it, especially for legal, financial, medical or other important decisions. Seben’s output is not legal, financial or other professional advice.
In Ask mode, the default, the agent waits for your approval before destructive changes. In Auto mode it applies them without asking, and choosing Auto mode is your decision. Every change is saved as a version you can restore.
Connected apps and API keys
When you connect another app to Seben, your use of that app is governed by its own terms, and Seben sends it only what you approve in each call. Workspace API keys are credentials: keep them secret, give them only to clients you trust, and revoke any key that may have been exposed. You are responsible for what a client does with a key from your workspace.
Acceptable use
You may not use Seben to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including by uploading material you have no right to share;
- upload malware or anything designed to harm Seben or other people;
- access, or try to access, workspaces, accounts or data that are not yours;
- probe, scan or test Seben’s security without our written permission, except for good-faith reports sent to [email protected];
- interfere with or overload Seben, or work around its limits;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer Seben, except where the law allows it.
Fair use of the free workspace. The free personal workspace is offered under fair use: it is meant for one person’s own documents at a reasonable volume. We may limit or suspend use of it that goes far beyond that, such as automated bulk processing.
Plans, trials and payments
- Plans and prices are shown in Seben before you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe, under Stripe’s terms.
- When an organization workspace’s 30-day trial ends, the workspace becomes read-only until someone subscribes.
- Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until they are cancelled.
- Upgrades are prorated immediately. Downgrades take effect at renewal. Promotion codes are accepted.
- After a cancellation, the workspace keeps full access for 14 days, then can only export.
- After a failed renewal payment, the workspace keeps full access for 14 days, then can only export.
Desktop apps
The desktop apps update themselves automatically. By installing one, you agree to receive these updates.
Feedback
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using Seben at any time. There is no self-serve way to delete an account or a workspace yet; to delete either, email [email protected]. We may suspend or end your access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, or where the law requires it, and we will tell you when we can.
Changes
We improve Seben continually and may change or remove features. When we change these Terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If you keep using Seben after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply.
Disclaimers
Seben is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, Aqili disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not promise that Seben will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Aqili is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Aqili’s total liability for any claim about Seben is limited to the amount you paid Aqili for Seben in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Aqili against third-party claims that arise from your content or from your breach of these Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes about these Terms or Seben are heard in the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you and Aqili agree to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring a dispute in the courts there.
