Settings → Integrations connects other tools to the agent. Notion and Granola connect by signing in. Zapier, GitHub, another Seben workspace, or any streamable-HTTP MCP server connect with a URL and a token. Once connected, that app’s tools appear alongside Seben’s own, so you can ask for things like “pull my last meeting notes and add them to this PDF”. Workspace owners manage the connections.
The agent never calls a connected app without your approval, in Ask mode and in Auto mode alike. Each call first shows an approval card with what the agent is about to send to the app.
Workspace API keys
Workspace API keys work the other way round: they let an AI client you trust read and edit the documents in an organization workspace over MCP. Workspace owners create them under Settings → Integrations. A key is shown once, when you create it, and cannot be shown again; Seben stores only a salted hash of it.
Deleting pages, redacting and other destructive actions are refused over a key, because they need a person’s approval inside Seben. A key alone can never delete your pages.
The free personal workspace cannot create API keys. Connect an AI client over MCP covers the setup and the limits.
