Every change you apply, whether a text edit, a deleted page, a redaction or an agent action, becomes a new version of the document. That makes undo simple and safe:
- Undo and redo. Use the toolbar buttons, or Ctrl+Z and Shift+Ctrl+Z (⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z on a Mac), to step backward and forward through versions.
- Version history. File → Version history… lists every version with a Restore button, so you can go straight back to any point.
- Download. File → Download, or Ctrl+S (⌘S), saves the current version to your computer.
- Compress. File → Compress… reduces the file size, with three quality levels to choose from.
Earlier versions stay in the history, including the version from before a redaction, and anyone in the workspace can restore them. To share a redacted document, download the redacted version; see Redaction.
