- Search. Press Ctrl+F (⌘F on a Mac) or open the search tab, the magnifier icon in the left panel. Type your query to see the results, move between them with the previous and next arrows, and see each match highlighted on the page.
- Print. File → Print…, or Ctrl+P (⌘P).
- Properties. File → Properties… shows the document’s metadata: title, author, dates and so on.
- Outline. The Outline tab in the left panel shows the PDF’s bookmarks when the document has them. Click an entry to jump there.
A scanned page has no text to search until you run OCR on it; see Scanned documents.
